KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
The four-year-old kindergarten program, is a half-day program designed to prepare the four-year-old socially and mentally for the five-year-old kindergarten program. The student begins many of the basic skills that he will continue in five-year-old kindergarten. Reading readiness, Bible memorization, and math readiness are some of the skills learned in five-year-old kindergarten. A regular chapel program emphasizes God, patriotism, and character development.
ELEMENTARY PROGRAM Grades 1st - 6th
The elementary program is designed to develop the learning skills in all subject areas, including daily instruction in the Bible. Activity classes teaching art, music, physical education, computer, and foreign language are also used to enhance the character, knowledge, and aesthetic tastes of the student. In addition, participation in the chapel programs is a regular part of the curriculum.
The elementary program is designed for the average and above average student. In order to maintain a uniform age and maturity level in each grade level, those entering kindergarten must be four or five years old on or before August 31. Those entering first grade must be six on or before August 31.
Tutoring or other additional help may be deemed necessary by the faculty for the proper development of the student. A resource teacher is available to give additional help in reading and math in grades 1-6. In addition, parent volunteers and selected student volunteers may also help. If help outside of school hours is warranted or if individualized materials are needed, there may be an additional fee.
HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM Grades 7th - 12th
The High School Program is designed to develop students academically, spiritually, and socially. Imparting life-changing values and wisdom found in the Word of God is a key goal. In addition to college preparatory course offerings, music and interscholastic sports opportunities are also available.
MUSIC
Choir is offered in the Elementary program from grades 3-6, and in the High School from grade 7-12. Piano lessons are also available for grades 1-12; space is limited, so parents interested should contact the school for more information.
